From brief to doorstep, eight precise stages
A transparent, milestone-driven print workflow built to Indian industry standards — ISO 12647-2 colour, CTP plate-making and closed-loop press control, so you always know exactly where your job stands and where it heads next.
A workflow engineered for zero surprises
Every Impression project moves through eight coordinated stages — discovery, pre-press, production, finishing, QC and fulfilment — with named owners and sign-off at each gate.
Requirement Brief
We capture the full print spec — quantity, format, GSM, colour build, finish, binding, packaging and delivery scope — and shortlist the press class and stock that fit your run length and brand tier.
Consultation & Estimate
A print specialist recommends paper make (art, maplitho, SBS/FBB board), press choice (sheet-fed offset, digital, UV or wide-format), gang-run imposition and cost-saving substitutions — wrapped in a transparent estimate.
Artwork Pre-press
Files are prepped to PDF/X-4 with 3–5 mm bleed and 300 DPI images, converted to CMYK with total ink coverage held in-spec, spot colours mapped to Pantone, and overprint, trapping and imposition set up for the plate.
Proof Sign-off
You approve a contract-grade digital proof — or a physical mock-up for packaging — calibrated to ISO 12647-2. The signed artefact becomes the master reference for colour, layout and finish on press.
Plate & Press Production
Separations are imaged onto thermal CTP plates and mounted on offset, digital or wide-format presses. Density, dot gain and register are read live with a spectrophotometer to hold ΔE within tolerance across the run.
Finishing & Binding
Lamination (matt, gloss, soft-touch), spot UV, hot-foil, embossing, die-cutting, scoring and folding are applied — then perfect binding, saddle-stitching, wire-O or case binding as the job calls for.
Quality Inspection
Multi-stage QC compares colour bars to the approved proof, verifies registration, cut and fold accuracy, checks ink rub and barcode scannability, and audits piece counts against the run sheet before release.
Packaging & Dispatch
Goods are shrink-wrapped, corrugated and pallet-strapped, kitted by SKU or destination, then dispatched with e-way bill and consignment tracking across Chennai and South India — visibility all the way to the doorstep.
